Looks like it's that time of year again, huh? Time for everyone to be neck deep in babies!

Er... well,not really neck-deep, that would be pretty weird and maybe a little creepy. Anyway, the point I was getting at is that you all are in luck! Ace Babysitter Maya Fey is here to help you all! To start, I've wished up a ton of toys from the castle that kids are bound to love, and I'll be giving them away in the lobby, free of charge!

[and, just as promised, if you come down to the lobby you'll find Maya sitting in a chair next to a big lumpy bag full of toys ]

A lot of people here are really serious, so I figured you guys would need help finding fun things for your little tyke to play with.

[Aradia happens to be passing through the lobby anyway, since her room opens up almost directly into it. She's awkwardly holding onto a grub that has, in its absence, grown to the size of a large, fat baby. She sees Maya and the toys though, and comes over to see.]

I don't know if he's old enough to be playing with toys yet. [Then again, she still knows practically nothing about grubs, except which end to put the food in.]

[Aradia grins at that reaction, and shifts grubface so that Maya can see better. Grubface, quite awake by now, squirms so that ripples seem to go from one end of its body to the other, and grasps with its buggy legs, trying to get a grip on its lusus unit's shirt.]

It's a grub! He's still in his larval stage.

You can touch him if you want. Just watch out for the teeth. [Yes, he has Sollux's huge teeth that are way too big for his mouth. And they're pretty sharp, too.]

I guess it's kiiiiiiind of somewhere between normal and not normal. See, people don't normally have babies just appear like this for no reason, but every year around this time the castle does this.
