She looks like Sunny when she sleeps, my little sister. I'm not entirely sure how this happened-- not the logistics. [She knows about the birds and the bees.] But I've never really thought of being a mother before. I could take care of a baby though, if I had to. It's not any different than my siblings.

[The baby makes a small noise and she can't help the laugh.] I feel very protective of her, and I'm not even sure if she has a name. Do they? Do we know?

She has my mother's eyes.

I was thinking of teaching her sign language. To communicate. I've spent some time with her, and I think she's capable.

It is. They're only here for a week and then they disappear. I've already seen it happen twice.

Sorta. I was here a year, then left and came back. But I'm remembering stuff from that first year. For some reason, the castle gave me a way to get the memories back.

Well, I was raised by a single mother and I turned out pretty good.

I know. But it doesn't really matter. I can only treat her like how I know my mother cared for us. [She sees this as it is, Percy, and she knows it's going to hurt after the week is over.]

I donno. I thought about it... But I think I'd like to do it the traditional way. You know, get married and stuff.
