Never thought I'd see the kid again with his mother gone.  Out of curiosity, how many of you got lucky enough to get a kid back from a previous year with a parent that has left?

This is actually my third year with Mary and not the other parent. But I had help last year and this year, so it worked out.

My daughter's mom has been gone for a long time but she came back this year anyway.

Second year with mine, though the first year, his mother was here. Would have never have the chance to meet her otherwise.

I think I'm handling him well enough with the Pokemon. The Pokemon is better than the kid's real mom with children.

You know why we didn't meet face to face? Because I didn't hunt you down. [Who knows if she actually would have taken the shot or not. Her earlier attempt had simply been reaction, but while this was not the Wash she'd known, he was still Wash. She'd mostly just wanted to frighten him.]
