Everything I ever owned in the years I was in this place has just been returned to me.

'Mean, I know I wasn't always the neatest resident, but this is forcing me to clean. [She sighs, running her hand through her hair as she glances around her room.]

Sort'v not very fair of it.

[She makes a clicking sound with her tongue and then exhales, clapping her hands to get started.]

Oh! Anyone seen a lil' dinosaur 'round? Most my pets have seemed to wander on back, but she's missin'. I was just wondering.

Sort of a thing?! ... I'll say. ... So s'this all one great big loony bin, or what? [he's trying to figure out why everyone seems to be the same exact brand of crazy, though. that's been tricky thus far]

Not quite. Must seem like it, but it's... it's just an experience. Takes a bit to settle in, yeah, but it's not being crazy.

How did you deal with it, when y' first got here?

Honestly? I drank a lot. It was 'round the holiday though. There were a lot of people I was sort'v familiar with from home and I just surrounded myself with them.

Gotta say, I wouldn' be dealin' half as much's I am now if my brother hadn't showed up here with me. So I think I know whatcha mean.

Maybe you and me could go get a drink sometime, aye?

Not here, no - 'fore we got here, me an' my brother got in a fight with some guys. We came out on th' better end of it, but still - wasn' pretty.

Well... for starters I came back which isn't so much the odd part -- but that I remember bein' here before is the weird spot.

Rule is that when you leave here, go home that is, you forget what went on. Makes it easier so you're not insane thinking that years or months happened in the span of a second.

No? I think the castle just locks the memories up. Sort'v so you can't get t'them.

Mean, how'd you explain all this back home? You'd get locked up.

So it's like.... brainwashing? Like they do in th' military, in movies an' shit?

Maybe? Could just be that the memories get locked up. Stored away where you can't find them.

Bit, yeah, but I think all it'd take from us was the things we had here. If we can't really talk about it without being accused of being insane - think it's better off locked up.
