[Just as before, today finds two new figures standing in the courtyard. They are great figures of the past for some residents. Perhaps their stories can be shared?

In the city, people are talking rather excitedly about an event to take place in the evening. They say a great fireworks display is scheduled, and they can't wait to catch a glimpse of it. It's said to be an extraordinary show.

Will you pay patronage to the elders? Will you grab a seat for the show?]

And yeah, Steve, I was going to talk you out of it across the Atlantic. You would have gone and done it before the letter even reached me. [He knows that there was no way he could have talked Steve out of it anyway.]

It hasn't been too long since I last saw you. [He frowns.] You sure you got nothing? I think I would have sent one by then. Whenever then is.

Well, it turned out to be about a year or so. If you sent me something, I didn't get it. Maybe you were busy with the whole... [He makes a gesture.] song and dance number.

I think I could find the time to write a letter between singing and dancing.
