[Just as before, today finds two new figures standing in the courtyard. They are great figures of the past for some residents. Perhaps their stories can be shared?

In the city, people are talking rather excitedly about an event to take place in the evening. They say a great fireworks display is scheduled, and they can't wait to catch a glimpse of it. It's said to be an extraordinary show.

Will you pay patronage to the elders? Will you grab a seat for the show?]

[There stands a man, tall and graceful, and very much elven. He stands straight and proud, robes and armor looking very regal. He is of royalty, that much can be concluded.

His distinct elven features may be familiar to some residents. How will you greet him?]

[At first, Alleria was pleased to see a new elf in this place. He looked somewhat familiar, though she could not place him immediately, but that was enough for her to recognize him as Quel'dorei. Perhaps they had passed each other in the city more than once. She couldn't know everyone by sight, after all.

Smiling a little, she strides closer to the elf before she realizes that he's surrounded by a shaft of light. And judging by the previous two days and what those shafts of light had meant --

[A woman clad in armor stands not far away. While she appears quiet, as if watching people with a motherly smile, she also stands as if ready for battle.

Will she be recognized by those of her world?]

[If it had been a few years ago the answer would be a resounding 'no'. But you don't hang out with Sebastian Vael for long before you're able to recognise the face he always has over his crotch.

[ Festivals, not really her thing, she'd been turned off after having to attending all those bloody noble parties after being crowned Champion. But there's only so long until boredom gets the better of her and she marches out to see what the fuss is about.

FIREWORKS DISPLAY (DATED TO SUNDOWN)

[It appears as if extra lanterns and candles have spawned around the duck pond. It's a beautiful sight, and rather inviting. Just beyond it, appearing over the water is a display of fireworks like none other. The show seems endless, lights dazzling residents and daring townfolk alike.

There's no such thing as a bad seat. The display can be viewed from anywhere around the pond, from the roof, and from castle windows.

The show will surely be memorable for all.]

[It isn't that Spike is curious about the festival, or that he really wants to see the fireworks, but for some reason he's had a hard time sleeping with all the candles and crap in his room. (And nothing at all to do with his occasional bad memories of festivals thrown by the castle.)

... Okay, maybe he's slightly curious when he sees people heading to the roof. Before long he's up there trying to get a good look at whatever is drawing everyone there. He's going for a cigarette when he sees Maya, waiting for the show probably.]

Did I miss anything? [When he says it like that, it's almost convincing that he wants to be there.]

[Conan is fairly bundled up himself. He slowly makes his way across the roof, looking for a good place to sit.]

[Bucky is up on the roof because of the fireworks, but not because he wants to see them. He's trying to get used to the sound again. It's just sort of chance he stumbles on Steve.] ...Steve? What are you doing up here?

[This is someone she hasn't spoken to in a while. Not since that whole awkward loss anyway, when he worked in a coffee shop and she..... Well, some things are best left not talked about.

Who knows the exact reason for her approach when her eyes catch sight of that somewhat familiar face. But, whatever that reason may be, she does so quietly, in her usual way. (After all, she's not one for announcing her presence. Not until she wants to.) She's silent for a few long moments, simply continuing to watch the fireworks, before finally breaking it.]

[Tomoe made her way up to the roof, pulling her shawl close around her shoulders. Two months hadn't been a lot of time to experience all that many of the castle's events--but whatever was occurring this week she was glad (and even nostalgic) for some of the similarities.]

[She'll just be standing next to a wall and watching the display--and even though she isn't smiling there is a distinct calmness in her face that has been rather absent since her arrival.]
