[Just as before, today finds two new figures standing in the courtyard. They are great figures of the past for some residents. Perhaps their stories can be shared?

In the city, people are talking rather excitedly about an event to take place in the evening. They say a great fireworks display is scheduled, and they can't wait to catch a glimpse of it. It's said to be an extraordinary show.

Will you pay patronage to the elders? Will you grab a seat for the show?]

[At first, Alleria was pleased to see a new elf in this place. He looked somewhat familiar, though she could not place him immediately, but that was enough for her to recognize him as Quel'dorei. Perhaps they had passed each other in the city more than once. She couldn't know everyone by sight, after all.

Smiling a little, she strides closer to the elf before she realizes that he's surrounded by a shaft of light. And judging by the previous two days and what those shafts of light had meant --

She stops just outside the ring of light, peering cautiously, curiously.]

Bal'a dash, malanore. Pardon my forwardness, but you are ...?

['Click'. Takin' a photograph of Alleria and her ethereal elf friend, then taking a few steps closer.]

I don't think they can hear you.

[She whirls around at the clicking, squinting suspiciously at this ... person.]

How would you know?

I'm a physical manifestation of the castle's will here to tell you all to start behaving.

[...slight pause. She looks like the serious type, that might not have been the best way to start the conversation.]

[There's a long pause, and when she replies, her tone is icy.]

I am aware of what humor is. [NOT GIVING THE BEST EXAMPLE THERE, BUT ...]

Alright, alright, just making sure. I didn't want to end up getting attacked because of my sense of humor.

[He'll walk a bit closer, inspecting the ethereal figure before them both.]

[She's an elf, okay, they are the haughtiest things in the world ......

Frowning, Alleria turns her attention back at the ... well, the ghost? The spirit? Whomever he is.]

I do not know. He is familiar, though I can't place him. Clearly he one of my people, but ...

Understandable. Not every historical figure is going to live during the time people would recognize, I suppose.

That's what makes them 'history.'

[Just...staring a little closer at this guy.]

He seems like royalty, unless all of your people dress in such rich looking fabrics.

[She scoffs a little, rolling her eyes.] Not all of them. But a fair number. They like to think they are akin to royalty, you see.

[But then she's thoughtful again, folding her arms and drumming her fingers on her biceps.]

We are very long-lived, my people. So it is possible he is familiar to me because he has close descendants living in my time.

You can't think of anyone who might fit the bill?

Any important figures in your time who bare any kind of similarities?

[A shrug.]

The lifespan of a human must seem so brief to you, then.

[She just frowns in response, quietly eying the spirit over there for a few moments.] Perhaps.

But yes. You are rather short-lived. It's a bit sad, as you have very much to offer, as a race -- and only a short amount of time to do it all.

Yet people still think they can waste what precious little time they have left, and ultimately accomplish nothing.

It'd almost be funny, if it wasn't so disappointing.

[Finally turning his attention back to Alleria now.]

So, do you have a name, or is this one of those 'in my language it would take a thousand years to pronounce' sort of deals?

[She'll look over at him again, at that.

And fix him with a stare that sort of implies that she might think he's crazy.]

I have heard a few names here like yours -- are you from a particular world or region?

I've forgotten pretty much everything about my personal life aside my name.

Unless I didn't have one to begin with, then I've yet to actually figure out my loss.

What memories are you left with? Your career?

A career is one way to put it, yes.

Eitherway all I know is my name and that. Everything else is a blank.

[She fails to see the humor!! But she just nods, brow furrowed. She is concerned, that sounds like a super shitty loss!]

I am sorry you are subject to that. I have yet to even come across my own loss, and I have been here for over a year.

Like I said, I could be wrong. But it isn't like it matters.

[Little shrug, and he'll tilt his head slightly.]

You can't miss what you don't remember after all. If you haven't figured out your loss, you probably understand after all that time here.

[She nods.] Yes, exactly. I do sometimes wonder about it, but more often than not it does not even cross my mind.
