[Just as before, today finds two new figures standing in the courtyard. They are great figures of the past for some residents. Perhaps their stories can be shared?

In the city, people are talking rather excitedly about an event to take place in the evening. They say a great fireworks display is scheduled, and they can't wait to catch a glimpse of it. It's said to be an extraordinary show.

Will you pay patronage to the elders? Will you grab a seat for the show?]

[Steve hears someone coming and turns around. He can guess at what's going on.] Hey. The view is pretty good from over here.

Thanks! I wasn't sure where to sit.

[Steve smiles.] It's a big roof. Just about anywhere will do.

That's a good thing, isn't it?

I think so. Plenty of space to appreciate this view. It's really something, isn't it?

It's always fun to see fireworks. [Better not to mentiuon all the murder cases he'd seen involving firework displays.]

Do you see a lot of them back home?

I've seen them at festivals a lot. Sometimes they have fireworks at amusement parks too.
