[Just as before, today finds two new figures standing in the courtyard. They are great figures of the past for some residents. Perhaps their stories can be shared?

In the city, people are talking rather excitedly about an event to take place in the evening. They say a great fireworks display is scheduled, and they can't wait to catch a glimpse of it. It's said to be an extraordinary show.

Will you pay patronage to the elders? Will you grab a seat for the show?]

[There might be a slight twitch in her face at that reminder of the whole fiasco that was New Year's (but nothing that would be visible for more than half a second at best). It's almost like the headache from the resulting hangover is there all over again, pounding and awful.

[Aww, Steve bb. She's been so jaded for so long that it's hard to imagine being otherwise. But that is enough to keep the small smile on her.]
