[Just as before, today finds two new figures standing in the courtyard. They are great figures of the past for some residents. Perhaps their stories can be shared?

In the city, people are talking rather excitedly about an event to take place in the evening. They say a great fireworks display is scheduled, and they can't wait to catch a glimpse of it. It's said to be an extraordinary show.

What kind of festivals? Anything in particular? [Trying to pinpoint what his culture is and if he's from Earth or not. By now, he's learned to not just assume that everyone is from there too.]

Many different festivals. We go to all of the different annual festivals in Tokyo, and we have also been to many festivals in other regions.

You're from Tokyo? Earth, I'm guessing? What year?

Mmm, from Beika-cho. The year was 2002.

Oh? Where are you from? From your accent I would guess America.
