[Anyone deciding to take a walk in the woods today may feel like someone's watching them. That's because, well, someone is. Rue's thoroughly enjoying her time as a tree nymph and is spending the day hopping through the tree tops and keeping an eye over the forest and anyone who decides to visit.

In the afternoon she gets curious about the camp proper and finds a good branch on the edge of the forest to sit and watch as she eats some fruit she found. After talking to Martel she's unsure about actually going to visit the camp, but that doesn't mean she can't watch does it? She doesn't bother hiding, choosing instead to sing quietly to herself and swing her feet in the open air as she pulls out her journal.]

[Clint's still wandering around to get his bearings. He's liberated a bow and arrow quiver from the armoury, both being strapped to his back. He doesn't think he'll need to use them, but it makes him feel better to have them with him.

It's the singing that catches his attention, and he scans the treeline, spotting the nymph up there.]

Well, there's something you don't see every day.

[screw all this scheduling, if Gale can explore, he's exploring. he got himself proper equipment from the armory, and now he's camped out in a quiet spot in the brush, properly hidden from any game, and is making himself a proper snare to set in the undergrowth. his pack is off to the side...]

[Rue has never seen Gale in person but she's certainly curious about what he's doing. She crouches on a branch and watches him, peering at that bag.]

[he's looping the hemp he snagged from the arts & crafts cabin around a joint when he catches the movement at the edge of his peripheral vision. he isn't going to move, but he'll shift his gaze -- oh hey. it's a -- a --

wait. that's a familiar face from the broadcasts, only not. he's definitely turning his head now]

[Rin is strolling in the woods, whistling softly to herself tunelessly and keeping an eye out for anything, well, weird.

She seems to just be exploring. Actually, she's sort of idly trying to find where Eva is. It'll pay to know the territory if they're going to be here for a while regardless.]

[Rue's following along above her in the trees. After a little while she starts to echo Rin's whistling, mimicking it back]

[It takes her a few minutes to notice that she has an echo, and at first she thinks maybe a bird, but - it's too exact! So she stops abruptly, steps slowing as she cranes her neck looking around the forest.

A little cautious-looking. That didn't seem threatening, but you never know.]

[Chris has gone off to explore a little. He's never been to a camp before and so far, this is fun. He's making sure to not go past the camp border, though. You don't want to get in trouble when your foster dad is a camp co-director.]
