[Anyone deciding to take a walk in the woods today may feel like someone's watching them. That's because, well, someone is. Rue's thoroughly enjoying her time as a tree nymph and is spending the day hopping through the tree tops and keeping an eye over the forest and anyone who decides to visit.

In the afternoon she gets curious about the camp proper and finds a good branch on the edge of the forest to sit and watch as she eats some fruit she found. After talking to Martel she's unsure about actually going to visit the camp, but that doesn't mean she can't watch does it? She doesn't bother hiding, choosing instead to sing quietly to herself and swing her feet in the open air as she pulls out her journal.]

Where is everyone? Are you having fun?

[screw all this scheduling, if Gale can explore, he's exploring. he got himself proper equipment from the armory, and now he's camped out in a quiet spot in the brush, properly hidden from any game, and is making himself a proper snare to set in the undergrowth. his pack is off to the side...]

[Rue has never seen Gale in person but she's certainly curious about what he's doing. She crouches on a branch and watches him, peering at that bag.]

[he's looping the hemp he snagged from the arts & crafts cabin around a joint when he catches the movement at the edge of his peripheral vision. he isn't going to move, but he'll shift his gaze -- oh hey. it's a -- a --

wait. that's a familiar face from the broadcasts, only not. he's definitely turning his head now]

[It takes her a second to place his voice. When she does she smiles]

Hi, Gale.

[She drops from the branch, landing neatly on bare feet. Her breezy green dress looks spotless... not like she's been living in the woods the past few days]

What .... I swear, I'm not trying to be rude. But what happened to you?

[She giggles] I'm a nymph! At least, that's what they people from here have been calling me.

[eyebrows]. Annnnd did the people here tell you what that means? I know I've never heard of one...

[She smiles]

I think I'm supposed to help the plants grow and protect the forest and keep it clean and stuff.

Sounds like the kind of thing you'd be pretty good at.

Thanks! I think that's why I'm out here instead of in one of those cabins.

[She cocks her head at him] What are you doing out here?

[fanstheflame]

[he shrugs, not even realizing it might not be a good idea to say this to a wood nymph] Setting up some snares, so I can catch things.

[fly_little_bird]

[She cocks her head at him]

What are you gonna use the animals you catch for?

[fanstheflame]

I'll probably bring them to the mess hall. And if the hides are any good, I might tan those, too.

[fly_little_bird]

[she nods] okay. As long as you're using all of them for something that's alright.

Of course. I never waste anything unless I've got absolutely no use for it. [he can't afford to - but he's pretty sure she understands what that's like]

[She smiles. She certainly does know what it's like. Her family might not have had much in the way of meat but they certainly made use of every part of every plant they found that was edible (and not poisonous).]

Then that's alright, then.
