[schedules are for people who actually like doing what they're told. at morning reveille, Gale makes his way to the armory, gets a bow and a knife, and makes his way out into the woods.

by mid-morning he's "washed" his bright orange shirt in a mud puddle to make it less obviously visible, and already made a few serviceable snares, setting them low in the undergrowth off the beaten paths. now he's strolling the paths and looking for a proper vantage point. if anyone asks him why he's all the way out here? why, that's easy. he'll just say he's looking for Katniss.]

So, hey, what cabins are you all in? Mine's called Athena... Anyone out there feel like filling me in on what that means?

[Roy]

I should have something for you tonight. What time would you need me to drop it off at the mess hall?

[he laughs, too, because seriously, what is this conversation even. other than vaguely frightening in that "oh god what do" way. he both likes where it's going and isn't sure of it, all at the same time.
