Open Post: A hellhound appears!

[the arena is back open again! But before people get too excited, they will see that most of the space is taken up by a gigantic dog. It's a black mastiff about the size of a tank. If you've been paying attention to lessons you would know that this is a hellhound. Even if you haven't, it's a pretty big dog.

Currently it's chewing on a practice dummy. What do you do?]

[tail wags crazily, bumping him with her nose]

[ He stumbles back from the bump and saunters to the side, pretending to throw the dummy to the left when-- ha! He throws it to the right! ]

[she starts going to the left, but not seeing the dummy there she starts running all over for it]

Ha! [ He jogs lightly after her. ] Quick, quick, before I snatch it away from you forever!

[a race, eh? She will leap, but get all the way to the other side of the arena. Big dog. She has to double back to get to the dummy]

[ He would rush for the dummy at vampire speed or something but he had to stop and duck in case the dog falls on him. That would still hurt a bit. But, ha, got the dummy by the leg! ]

[she wags her tail, hoping he'll throw it again. This is fun!]

[ He licks his lips in preparation. Then sprints away with the dummy still in hand. Catch him if you can! ]

[yay she will happily race after Klaus! Best day ever]

[ And he stops abruptly to let her catch up (or maybe he just wants to be pounced on. ]

[well she is all about pouncing and licking. So Klaus may get doggy slobber all over him]

[ He laughs and tried to avert his face from the slobber to no avail. Eventually he rolls away and tries to stand back up. ]

Good girl!

[waits for him to get up, her tail wagging like crazy]

[ He reaches to pat her on the snout. ]

I'm coming up with a name for you. Something nice.

[she whines; she already has a name! She leans forward to show him her collar]

[ He reaches to tug at the collar and peer at the name... ]

[if you can read Greek, it says she belongs to "Perseus Jackson"]
