[at first, there's just the sound of running water and a tap being turned off.

Then dictation, slightly muffled and hesitant, as if she had deliberately placed some distance between herself and the open journal. Which would be accurate.]

I'm guessing not too many spotted the rather resident-ish statues on the camp grounds.

[and this is a grinding pop as she works her stiff jaw, before continuing]

Feels like we changed around midnight back there.

[Sayaka trails off uncertainly, and ends up pausing at that awkward place. Spending an entire week with a toothbrush stuck in your mouth will do that]

Why would anyone have been turned into a statue, anyway! They clearly had enough frivolous things to work with in the beginning, I doubt they were in desperate need of extra decor.

That's what I don't get. [but if it was caused by the castle...the unexpected is to be expected] You want proof, I'm sure there are other people who can back me up.

I suppose it doesn't do any harm to let you keep the delusion of being turned into a statue. Very well! I'll take your word for it. [ isn't he gracious? he certainly thinks so. ]

Without proof, it surely is! You can't just go around trusting things like rumors and stories. The world would fall to pieces if people used that as a basis to support the supernatural!
