Moriarty drummed his fingers on his desk. He's been debating with himself whether or not to actually do this post for a few hours now. The week at Greek summer camp was a mild irritation at best. This was more of a pressing matter. If the man genuinely wasn't here anymore then who would stop the boredom? It would be a living hell.

So Johnny boy's been up and attending to his little doctor duties or whatever he does, for sometime now. However you're still strangely absent. I don't believe you've been sent home, for one thing your name is still on your door.
Have I crushed your spirit so much that, after one simple little game here you've gone into hiding? I expected more from you Sherlock.
Don't make me go looking for you.

But rest assured, he is watching.
He can't afford to give himself away, not yet. But he's rapidly running out of time; he knows that between John and Jim, someone's going to start looking for him soon, and that has the potential to be messy. (He knows how to not be found, of course, hiding out here is child's play. But things are complicated enough without a manhunt.)
Their game hadn't ended when he stepped off the roof, not even slightly. But this wasn't the extension he planned for, a deadlock in Moriarty's replacement purgatory. Regroup, reevaluate, start again.

Ok that works for him. When it comes to Sherlock he's more than willing to exercise a little patience.
Besides which he knows Sherlock won't stay away for too long, because there are people he actually cares about at the castle. Even if the man would deny it.
"To be continued" Moriarty thinks as he closes his journal.]
