-79- Everybody Hurts
[she sounds exhausted, weary to her core, when she finally gets a hold of her journal. She also sounds desperate. The fact that she woke up to absolutely nothing about the world making sense--trapped like a political prisoner, Spike acting like he's insane--really helped her pull herself together a little. She'll deal with why she's in the clinic later. Right now, all that matters is that she can get out of it.]
I will pay someone to get me out of here. Caisos, diamonds, whatever you want. Just... get over here now. ...Please.
[That's when a male voice interrupts out of nowhere, suddenly very close by.]
You could pick up better reading. [Plucking the journal from her hands!] You're supposed to be resting, you know.
--Hey! Give that back! [...it'll take her a minute to get that journal back]
((ooc:backdated to last night OOPS WRONG. Not backdated; the clinic is free now. Open over the journal, or in person in the clinic. Zelman is a dick, Spike is on a loss, and shit is crazy))

I'll fill you in on everything you miss.

[reaching for it again, a little feebly. between her physical state and Spike's insanity, she's getting pretty worn out]

Here. You should eat something. [--aaaand he's pulling up a chair. Good luck getting rid of him now, Faye.]

What I could really use is a drink.

I'll see what I can do. I've smuggled enough cigarettes in here to have worked out a system.

Alcohol's good for circulation, right?
[and a stilted attempt at a chuckle. ...Yeah, no, everything is weird. She's very ready for it to go back to normal now]

[All smiles. Joking is always a good sign that she's feeling better.]

[oh she sounds so relieved]
You've gotta get me out of here.
[and then... maybe a little bit of a hesitation here--] ...I'm in the clinic.
no subject
Why are you in a clinic? Did you actually manage to shoot one another this time?

[Still, grouching all the while, he'll make his way to the clinic. He spends far more time down here than he'd like looking for you, Faye B|]
no subject
Oh, and hey, he can go right on into the clinic without a problem. Someone might not have informed her that the craziness has ended and that she's no longer technically a prisoner.
And she's looking pretty alright, for the most part. No obvious horrendous injuries or anything. Just drained of all energy, and probably paler than she should be]
