001 - Apostles Creed (Backdated to Sunday morning)

[Connor clears his throat before speaking. He's still not sure about this whole 'talking through the journal' thing, but he's willing to give it a shot. After another moment's thought his smooth Irish brogue flows through the journal.]

So my brother'n I jus' got 'ere last week 'n we were wonderin' if there was a church here. Even'f there's no one givin' sermons or anythin' like that. We'd jus' like somewhere t'go. Haven't had much've a chance t'explore ourselves, yet, so I figured I'd jus' ask.

((ooc: Open for the journal or anyone who might be in the clinic. Expect threadjacking from Murphy. :D))

[Eyeroll]

If you want to have your wee secret code, go ahead. But the filter is more for not spamming the rest of the castle.

[and then, the Gaelic....]

We've already got one've those. Well, most've one. Not my fault you Scots can't speak properly.

So how d'you make it go, again? [because he only filtered, he didn't actually explain how it happens]

And dinnae think f'r a single wee second that the gaelic is gonnae be foolin' me.

[Carson coughs.] Irish and Scottish Gaelic are similar in phoentics, so consider your code partially cracked, lads.

[Now, onto business]

Filters go the same. You can either speak it or write it, but anything under that filter is only for the intended recipient.

S'a good thing we trust ya, then, innit. [Murph's grinning, but his eyes are serious. they really do, and they've got good instincts for this sort of thing]

... Anythin'? Really? ... Even if someone's readin' it over their shoulder or in th' same room listenin' in?

Glad to know. I wouldn't be much of a doctor if people didn't trust me on sight.

And, no. If you're speaking, people'll be able to hear you if they're in the same room, but you can always write in the filter. Same if they're looking over your shoulder when writing.

Now that's a trick I can get behind. [maybe he still wasn't sure what all of this was, but anything that could help Jim and his brother continue their work was welcome news]

It's not me!

Aye, and it's smart, too. If you want to speak to the Clinic Staff, you just put down a filter and we all get it.

[Filtered to Connor and Murphy MacManus]

Looks like this when it's in place. It's handy.

Aye, that's right.
