family reunion day 2; dated to 9:00 AM

[Breakfast with the family is a great way to start out the morning, right? But with a reunion this big, tables outside is the only way it's really going to work. Resort workers are standing over tables spread out with heated trays of scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, French toast, and biscuits and gravy. There are more tables with plates arranged with sliced pieces of fruit. There's another long table devoted entirely to different kinds of cereal, with gallons and gallons of milk to pour over it. And of course there are dozens of round tables set up where people can actually sit and eat with each other before really starting out their day -

There's also the grassy lawn facing the lake where those who would rather can take their plates and sit in a slightly more informal setting.

This is a chance to hang out with some of the family that isn't so closely related to you! Enjoy that.]

Are you avoiding us again today? [ No hi or good morning or how are you. Just...those eyes. ]

[there's a yawn and a slow blink before she finally focuses on the kid in front of her]

If I am, I'm doing a pretty bad job of it.

[persequor]

What will you do then?

[sexyhitchhiker]

Other than count down the days till this nightmare is over? Go swimming, maybe.

Can I come?

[sexyhitchhiker]

Yeah, of course. It's not like I own the lake.

[hmm.] You know anybody else who'd like to go? [get the little terror some playmates other than just Natsuki]

[persequor]

Spike. [ The answer is immediate. She loves her little bro, smacks she gives him aside. ]

[sexyhitchhiker]

[she nods in approval. At least it's the brother she can tolerate.]

Alright. We'll ask him if he wants to go - [she glances about the crowded room] if we manage to find him.

[persequor]

I saw him. [ Looking around too. ] At least I think I did. I'll find find him!

[sexyhitchhiker]

[she yawns, leaning back in her chair and sipping at her coffee.]

I'll be here. Find me when you get ahold of him.

[persequor]

I will! [ And she runs off! ]
