[It's easy to forget about, since it's a bit offset from the resort proper... however! The town still exists, and on some days, things even happen there. It might make a nice respite from lounging around getting in touch with nature via the lake, and the leeches, and the ticks at the resort

Music in the park

[Quite a lot of cutesy stuff goes on in this 50s throwback town that nonetheless manages to have ubiquitous iJournal wifi, but maybe the cutesyest is Wednesday afternoon Music in the Park. A full band gets all suited up in band uniforms and comes and sits under a pavilion in their band chairs and they all play songs for a pleasant musical hour and a half! Chairs are arranged for a potential audience, though there's sitting space on the ground as well. Please don't steal any empty instrument cases.]

[This is something Sansa doesn't absolutely hate. Surprise, surprise there. She, of course, is sitting in a seat. They're good, though she's probably seen better. At least it's entertaining and away from her family. Mostly Arya.]

[Kat's stomach-down on a blanket on the grass, half-listening to the music as she reads one of the enormous textbooks York dried to get her to leave at home.]

[Takato is happily lying down in the grass and drawing in a new notebook. He is half listening to the music as he draws, occasionally humming along to songs he recognizes.]

[She's been quiet for most of the trip, yet she begins singing softly here , and it's rather lovely.]

[River Song is settled comfortably in a chair, hands on her lap, simply enjoying the music. Perhaps a bit too well because she's beginning to doze off]

[Renee is laying on a blanket, spread across the ground. The music playing isn't really her style, but she wasn't about to say no to the chance to escape her family for a bit of relaxation. And if the music puts her to sleep, she figures it's a well earned nap.]

[Is it any surprise that Galadriel is out here? She's actually seated on the ground, leaning against a tree, and looking completely content.

She also has a bottle of wine and is willing to share. So.]

Farmer's Market

[Look at these beautiful vegetables. Look at these beautiful fruits. Look at these gorgeous flowers. You can see all of these things, and also buy them, at town's farmer's market, because apparently local farmers have decided they should go ahead and capitalize on those wealthy tourists!]

[Finally, something that Molotov kind of has an interest in doing. And, most importantly, it's a setting that dictates she doesn't have to interact with her family. And if someone she doesn't like shows up, there's plenty of vegetables for throwing!

For now, though, she's inspecting flowers with an oddly strong sense of determination, like she just absolutely will not settle for anything less than perfect flowers.]

[These farmers think they can sell their goods? Well, the Once-ler has decided to give it a shot here, too. After all, you never know when there might be a prospective buyer around.

So he's set himself up on a step somewhere on the area, a box of Thneeds at his feet and his trusty guitar strapped around his neck. All set up, he begins his truly awful jingle]

[ There's a pretty puny purple pony perusing the plethora of purported pretty produce. Perchance, people could perceive her paying for plenty of pink pearl apples.

[Danny was bored. So he'd set out to do a little exploring. Eventually he had found his way to the farmer's market and spent a little time poking around it. And been mildly horrified by the complete lack of sugary snacks.]

[Conan is skateboarding at dangerous speeds through the middle of the market. And seems to be headed straight for a display of stacked melons.]

[Buying produce and flowers? Now this is something Hinata can get behind!

She can be found lingering around the produce, checking out the tomatoes for probably too long. She's trying to find the better ones for her brother, after all. Or maybe she should buy some other fruits and make smoothies. She just...isn't too sure what they all might like anymore.]

[And you can find Catelyn admiring the flowers. Occasionally, she stops and picks one up, inhaling the scent.

Town Rummage Sale

[Following the farmers' lead, the locals have apparently decided to try and make money off of resort-goers too. They really have put out a good spread, though: there's everything from clothes in good shape (ooh, vintage-ey!) to boxes full of old skeleton keys to impenetrably mysterious pieces of old junk that someone could buy and sit on a coffee table to use as a conversation starter forever.

[ Well, her father did say to go say hi to everyone. But, wow, RUMMAGE SALE. Erika's currently spending most of the afternoon going through everything. Sorting through fabric and putting together outfits, however she tries not to leave a mess--Opting to fold most of the clothes she rummages through ]

[Old, weird stuff people are selling out of their houses? Jane is THERE! She is currently inspecting this exquisite magnifying glass and wondering how much the seller will ask for it.]

[If there's one thing that she enjoys, its a sale like this. Here she had the opportunity to find all sorts of trinkets and unique items; perhaps something incredibly rare indeed. Vivian is looking through the various things on sale, minding her own business as she browses.

[Apollo is standing in front of one of the booths, examining a very interesting lamp. Needless to say, he's not sure whether to be creeped out or fascinated by this piece. But someone should step in before he's encouraged to by it from its seller.]

[Zelos got freed of kid watching duty for the day thanks to Sheena, so he's definitely exploring the town. Which of course means digging through the clothes trying to find the expensive nice stuff, and making faces at the terrible stuff]
