I have some news that's ridiculously unimportant in the big scheme of Paradisa Announcements, but it's been enough years that I think I can be happy to say that I got a promotion!
I won't bore anyone with the details of why [ because they involve a death that happened awhile back and that's just a debbie downer ] but I've been acting as temporary assistant-manager at the restaurant for awhile now, and they were supposed to find a replacement. But the acting manager admitted to not wanting to be in that position, since they had originally just been assisting.
So I'm now officially the manager of Il Cappricio. ...Like I said, it's not a big deal, but I'm celebrating anyway. If anyone wants to come by the restaurant tonight, drinks are on me. I'll be here late finishing up the paperwork, anyway.
I know you have enough on your plate right now because of the situation with Damian, but when you have the time I would like to talk. About several things, really, but the most prominent point will probably be our marriage.
I went and checked, and since you're back with your memories, our marriage license has been officially renewed.

That or complain. He judged me for going for dried pasta, like it was some sin. You're right, though. We've gotten at least three from Italy in the last two months. Weird coincidence.

Most of the "modern" Italian restaurants I saw in Paris used ingredients I have never heard of in my life.

Well this one isn't actually that modern, except for maybe the kitchen. There are several of what I think are traditional dishes, just some other different ones.
I can always have them make you a specific dish at your request, too.
