I have some news that's ridiculously unimportant in the big scheme of Paradisa Announcements, but it's been enough years that I think I can be happy to say that I got a promotion!

I won't bore anyone with the details of why [ because they involve a death that happened awhile back and that's just a debbie downer ] but I've been acting as temporary assistant-manager at the restaurant for awhile now, and they were supposed to find a replacement. But the acting manager admitted to not wanting to be in that position, since they had originally just been assisting.

So I'm now officially the manager of Il Cappricio. ...Like I said, it's not a big deal, but I'm celebrating anyway. If anyone wants to come by the restaurant tonight, drinks are on me. I'll be here late finishing up the paperwork, anyway.

Why do you assume that?

He said he was out of the Phantom Zone and as far as I remember, that isn't exactly simple to do without letting other things out too. I doubt Clark would put his son there.

Even if that's true, you don't know how he got there. Look at everything that's happened in Smallville alone. I'm sure there are several different ways it happened.

I'm just saying we shouldn't assume until we know for sure.

I'm fine. Dick Grayson is back, but I'm trying to give him some space as his memories come back. I guess it's not all at once like one would hope. Not that one really wants to remember everything about this place in one session.

I know, we spoke. I...thought he had gotten them all back at once, though.

Should I be careful what I say around him?

I'm not sure, but I've heard mixed reports from different people. I think it's just a lot to have a duplicate set of memories be slotted in all at once.

He probably just needs to let them settle into place. I wouldn't think it would be cause to censor yourself. The memories will come at their own pace and hiding things from him would only make him more cautious.
