[Well he was planning on pretending to still be good old Richard Brook because he likes nothing better then to mess with people. But this past week has drained him to the point he can't be bothered to keep up the charade.
The Brook personality was bad enough, but the family man Moriarty was a glimpse at what his life could have been like if he was boring, ordinary and had chosen a far duller path in life. ]
Is it too much to ask to keep my original personality and history for longer then a few days? Ugh you might as well install a revolving door in my head lately.
At the very least I should qualify for a free toaster after my next change.

That would be just peachy.
I should have seen that coming though...after you suggested the next time would be "fun".
Pardisa clearly doesn't share your sense of humour.

Yeah, Whatever. I'm just going to be out here in the woods, drinking till I pass out.

Some of her little friends from Panem were my...kids. [Why yes, he does sound like he's swallowed something bitter and nasty when he says that last word.]

Not the parenting type?

I think its safe to say that ship has sailed.
No kids are noisy, messy little beasts…I’d rather shoot myself again then give one of them a hug.

It's happened before. Clients sometimes get a glimpse of what their lives could have been like if they'd made better choices then boom...they kid themselves that they've been on the side of the angels all along.
I've a sneaking suspicion that’s what is going to happen here.

Why would you get a toaster?

Well with the amount of personality changes I’ve been through lately I should be able to qualify for some type of prize after my next one right?
People would probably be a lot more accepting of these events if there was some type of reward scheme involved.

I guess that makes sense... [a pause] You said it was a personality change. You're not normally like that?
no subject
I'm not...I'm just not.

[She's at a loss. She had hoped to continue to have some sort of a friendship with the man who she'd called her father for a week... but that's clearly not going to be the case. She hesitates, debating whether or not she should just close the journal...]

I kind of feel like I'm kicking a puppy
[And with that he closes the journal. Sorry Rue, whilst family Jim was a loving caring person, regular Jim is just an ass.]
