As some of you may recall, there's been an expedition planned for some time now. However, between rapid world changes and the recent silence of its proposer, we've yet to set a date for departure.

The destination is a place on the map called Lastlook, of which a painting was found in the room hidden deep in the Insolitus. Aradia Megido has been organizing this trip, but another troll [she didn't catch your name, Kanaya] informed us she was quite unconscious. Should she not regain consciousness soon, I'll be happy to take over whatever organization she has already planned. The trip is expected to take two or three weeks, as much of it is to take place outside the powered zone. I would strongly recommend bringing a mount on this trip, and as it appears to be a, er, seaport, it wouldn't hurt to have some skill with watercraft as well.

If anyone has any questions, I'll be glad to answer what I can.

Mmm, yes, Rin said something about boats. I won't be using them myself, but I'll be certain to pass the idea along. [Really, the castle puts them on boats far too often for Raine's liking.]

Though I did also hear something about larger ships at the pier up north? Do you suppose those could be sailed around, assuming we find safe harbor down there? That might be quite an adventure for the, ah, nautically-minded.

It's a possibility, though after all this time we can't be sure if they are still there or what condition they're in, considering the, ah, nature of our arrival.

That may be something to check on, then. Traveling by ship can at least be faster than by foot.

It could speed up our explorations of the surround land certainly.

As far as the Lastlook expedition goes, will you keep the rest of us updated? I'm interested to know what you discover.

Oh, of course I shall. A journey with no record benefits only oneself, and that's certainly not my aim.

Glad to hear it. Honestly I wish I could do more to contribute, but the last thing you need is a powerless wizard to drag along.

Oh, I don't know about that. My own magic will be quite useless, but I do love to travel. Still, there is plenty to explore within the powered zone if you do want to explore.

I don't mind traveling either, but it's likely not to be a pleasure walk. I came out of the last one bad enough to at least take a step back for the time being.

Though, as I told Lois, should we ever attempt to make a bid for the other castle that lies on the other side of the Dead Zone, I'll be there in a heartbeat.

Mmm, that's understandable. Whereas it's been rather too long since I've visited anything in the Dead Zone. I can't lose my expertise, now, can I?
