By my count there are at least a two-dozen resident owned businesses in the city and the castle. There are over a hundred city owned businesses that employ castle residents.

I'm pretty sure there are at least a hundred people looking for a job. At least half the population of the castle has wondered about moving out of the castle and I think employment is one thing that is stopping them. Mostly because there are a lot of options and not a lot of ways to figure out what exactly those options are.

If I set up some tables this Saturday in the ballroom, would people be up for a job fair? It's a bit... college weekend, but I think it might actually be an easy way to fix a lot of these problems.

[She taps her pencil on the edge of the journal.]

Alright, I'm just gonna do it. This Saturday, all day, in the ballroom there's going to be a job fair. If you have a business - come down and hire people. If you want a job - come down and find one.

If anyone can help me out with a flier and getting word out to the other businesses in the city - that'd be a big help.

You said it yourself. That you're tired of working seven days a week. [ Yeah, he's not giving up so easily. ] If you're not at the Lux, you're at the Gallery. So why do you even need it open everyday anyways?

Because those are the hours. You don't just change things because you're worn out. You work through it.

[ Well, no surprise there. When's the last time Jo had someone talk to her about her nutty working hours? ]

You're going to experience burnout one of these days. Unless of course there's something you haven't told me. [ He raises his eyebrows slightly. ]

[She smirks at him, shaking her head.]

Nope. Besides, I'd have hoped you would've noticed something like that a bit sooner.

Yeah, I thought so. [ He gives her a bit of a smirk back. ]

Just try to consider opening it for 6 days a week instead. It'll be good for you to have a break.

Plus, that'll give us more time to hangout. Away from the Lux.

[That was sneaky. Using time with him as a reason.]

I'll consider it. [She won't do it though.]

[ He's got a feeling she won't. ]

Okay. Well, I have to go. [ He's got more paperwork to finish up. ] I'll see you later maybe. [ Chase gets up, leans over and presses a quick kiss on the top of her head. ]

[She smiles at that and nods.]

I'll swing by when I get done here.

Alright. [ He smiles. ] I'll see you then. [ Yes, distract him from the boring paperwork. Despite this place being what it is, there aren't enough interesting and challenging cases to deal with. ]

[Maybe she'll bring him food. He also should look into Max's case too. That might be interesting enough for him.

Aww, but now she's all alone in the booth. Sad.]

[ He is! He's taken Max's blood and all that jazz.

That'll teach her to be a workaholic. ]

[Well, she has a house and bills to pay. She can handle the hours. Maybe tonight she'll just convince him to stay at her house so she can have more time with him.]
