[ action ] Letting Off Some Steam
[ Let it never be said that Ashura has gotten lazy here in Paradisa. Sure it's a castle of your dreams, granting every wish. One could become lackadaisical here, lazy even, letting the Castle take care of you. But Ashura would not let that happen to himself, not when the Castle so enjoyed tossing more dangerous things at them besides Family Reunions (awkward as that was).
So he is outside today, in the gardens, having chosen a place slightly to the side to be out of the way of those enjoying the main paths, but still visible. He is dressed simply in white and black, his hair back in a ponytail - his usual sparring attire versus his far more usual mass of jewels and silk.
And what, precisely, is he doing?
He's tossing fire around. Yeah.
Fire dances from his finger tips and plays behind him like a comet's tail. He kicked out, fire dancing along the line of his leg, following as he performed a flip (he was not terribly acrobatic, but he managed these smaller feats. It was practice as much as a release for him - but mostly practice. One could ill afford to be out of it, in this world, he was finding.

I suppose that is true. So, if you do not mind my asking, do your pages actually hold anything? Or are they blank?

[From his tone of voice, he's not actually offended.]

[He chuckled, more for the tone than the words. It was... it was funny coming from a book, okay?]</sub Not much of a high opinion of him.

[If he were human, this is when he would be visibly fidgeting.]
It is true that he is quite a brute, and meddles in others' affairs more often than not...but he is still my friend.
[That is to say, quite the contrary. Weiss's opinion of Nier is the highest he'll ever give.
...It's just how he shows his love, okay.]

Well, I suppose having a barbarian for a friend can come in handy now and then.

[sidequests and killing Shades, all day every day.]

[Though by now, he sees that Nier's sidequest habit is actually needed and very much appreciated, given the state of the world they live in.]

[If he could shrug right now, he would.]

So, do you have any fire spells in there?
no subject
[When you're a book, you have an aversion to fire anyway.]

[Dark Hand, Dark Lance, Dark Gluttony, Dark Wall...
...yep. All the dark.]

[Judging from how he was comparing dark magic to them.]

[He slid his hand through the air, fire following.]
Mine is Fire, but my world also has Water, Earth, Air, and Light.

[He spoke of misuse, so...]

Like myself? No. Talent in general - fairly so. The actual strength of said Talent varies though. I am unique in how strong I am.
