So, after that whole family thing, I realised something.

Does anyone still consider themselves legally married, or related to people? If so, I've got a few documents here that can fix it. Just standard divorce and disowning documents, you can read them if you want.

...Did I mention I was an attorney? Probably should have. Sounds like I want people to sign over their souls.

Depends on what time, or where, you're from, but in regards to the law I know? An engagement can be broken off whenever, no forms

Depends on who you're engaged to. Some people can get a little... defensive about their customs.

It's why I asked, mostly. Some people might not feel it's over until they have the divorce certificate, or proof they're no longer related to these people.

Well, you should be fine. There's no modern legal law that prevents an engagement being broken off by the parties concerned.

Now, see, there are many legal variables that throw our eligibility to such a law into question. The primary one being; who enforces it in the castle? As far as I know, the City Royale Law Enforcement doesn't bother too much with us.

As far as I'm concerned, the marriages in the last world change aren't legal anyway, so, yeah. The papers are useless, you caught me.

Some people just feel better with a slip of paper, you know? If we have anyone like that here, it'll be for their peice of mind, really.

And, yeah, I saw the attempts at law enforcement. I suppose this is another way of making those 30-odd bar exams worth it for me.
