I could wait for January to come around to do this, but I'd probably forget by then. Nothing wrong with md-August resolutions, unless there is. And to that I say whatever.

I've started learning a few things here and there, but none of them have been mastered. Cooking, guitar playing, riding horses... so! By the end of the year, I, Stephanie Brown, will be good at one of these things. I'm either going to know how to make a meal people will actually want on a regular basis, play "Wonderwall" like all the cool kids at Gotham U, or graduate from a fat pony to a real horse.

Doable? I think so.

Anyone feel like joining me in this mastering of a hobby thing? Figure we've got time to kill here. Even if it's just knitting or something.

... general cooking? My arsenal includes things like cake, waffles, mashed potatoes, and things that involve boiling water.

Entree is such a fancy word. But yeah, something along those lines. A meal that doesn't look like it took me ten minutes to toss together.

Messy hair yes, but I was more into leather jackets and motorcycle boots as a boy, and listening to The Cure.

But did you actually ride a motorcycle?

I did, yeah. Was pretty absorbed in London's goth scene as a boy, but the jacket and boots were as much functional as fashionable. Kept wearin' 'em even after I was required to wear a bloody "uniform" by my teachers.
