Seven Spoons {Dictation}

[If you were in the lobby earlier today, you may have noticed Jane staring at the room list in the lobby for quite some time, holding a plate of something really delicious and looking more upset by the minute. She fled the lobby, ran back up to her room, and slammed the door, which caused her journal to topple over and open just in time for it to catch these words:]

Gosh dang it! I missed him, he left and I waited too long and...gosh dang it to heck!!!!

[Clatter of a plate, scrape of a chair...and then a groan.]

It tastes perfect, too...oh, geez...

[Care to surprise Jane by speaking up?]

I've been here for almost two months, actually. In... ten days or so, I think?

[She chuckles.] I see! What a coincidence.

Aa. It feels like it's been longer, though. Time goes by when you don't have school, I guess. [Or a pressing need to save your friends/the world.]

[cyan_maid]

It really does! Days just fly by.

[She says it cheerfully, but it's actually kind of saddening to realize.]

Mmm... I still haven't figured out what I should do here, besides going on that expedition.

[cyan_maid]

You'll be going on the expedition, too?

[Now she's wondering who else she knows is going...]

Yeah, I am! I'm guessing that means you're going as well.

[cyan_maid]

I certainly am!

[not_mafia]

I guess we'll be seeing each other again soon, then, won't we?

[cyan_maid]

I would think so!
