[This... was not where he expected to be. That's apparent by the look on his face, which is both confused and cautious. He reaches for something at his side, only to find it missing and a strange book tucked into his hakama-himo where it should have been.

This appears to anger him slightly. He looks suspiciously at his surroundings and whispers to no one in particular.]

...Has he managed to fool us once again?

[Finding no answer or immediate danger in his surroundings, he flips open the book, looking for clues.]

[Hey there, daddycaptain. Have a teen that looks just as confused as you.]

[The boy's presence startles him for just a moment, then, sensing no threat from him he speaks.]

Hello? Where-

[A small pause.]

Who are you?

[Senri is awesome at communicating!

...have a shrug.]

[He considers the boy carefully.]

Do you know who you are? ...or where?

[bearcub]

...Senri.

[At least that sounds like a name.]

Hello Senri.

[He gives a small sigh - he was still in quite the predicament, and the young man didn't seem to understand him very well.]

My name is Ukitake Juushirou. I am... lost. Can you help me?

[bearcub]

[He looks thoughtful at that, and then picks up the book-that-was-not-his-book. The teen holds it up and then nods towards the one in Ukitake's belt.]

[Noticing what Senri is looking out, he takes the book out again.]

This? This can help me?

[Smaller sentences seemed better for the boy.]

I did not have it before I came here.

[He looks over the front and back cover, looking for a title or an author.]

[He nods a little, and then opens his own book, finding a page with sound on it. Holding it up again, he shows how the page magically speaks.]

Help.

[A book that could transmit sound? He looks at Senri's book, then opens his own again, flipping through the pages until he heard someone speak. He closes it again and turns back to Senri and looks thoughtful.]

Are they people speaking now? or is it recorded?

[He shuts his book when the man opens his own, and then shrugs at the question. He really didn't know what 'recording' was, so he couldn't answer that.]

[He couldn't help but be a bit frustrated with the lack of information, but the boy seemed so much younger in mind than in body. He didn't want to cause him any undue stress, either.]

I see... thank you, anyway, Senri-kun.

[He brightens up at that and makes a mm-hmm sound. He'd helped!

...now where was he, again?]

[Ukitake can't help but smile a little at his expression. He pats the boy gently on the shoulder.]

Be safe, all right?

[bearcub]

[Senri nods a little at that. He'd be okay.]

Dairine’s first thought when someone randomly appears in the room is some kind of teleportation. But when he doesn’t even recognize the journal, Dair realizes what’s up.]

[Has been walking about with a teacup in hand and spots the fellow who looks frighteningly like he did in that very same spot he was in exactly two weeks ago...And he realizes.]

[Sound of him fumbling with the book, startled. He hesitates before speaking into it.]

[Anything out of the ordinary has him on edge right now, so he tries to keep his distance.]

[He looks to see who is speaking to him, then cautiously approaches.]

A journal? It looks to be written in, already.
