The Carnival! (DAY ONE)

[Around 11:00am, the rides and vendors and stands suddenly appear, bustling with sounds and movements as the carnival spins to life. Throughout the day, all kinds of foods, rides, and games are available, but around the carnival signs are posted about a raffle that evening, with the items listed. Wait, did that belong to you? Well now it's up for raffle! Come buy tickets from any of the ghosts with said tickets slung across their shoulders like a sash.]

(ooc: There will be one section for the actual raffle - an ooc post will be up in a couple moments to claim the items- but other than that, go wild!)

[Spike is buying two of what seems like deep-friend apples. On sticks. He gives them an appreciative sniff, before holding one out to Zelos]

Try it! It smells great!

[Smells great? it smells like someone murdered a poor apple in hot oil- you know the kind you use to KILL people in raids. But he'll try politely declining]

Eheh, that's okay. I'm not hungry.

[Lies, it's delicious. Spike shrugs and just starts to eat both. AT THE SAME TIME.

Though a overly-full mouth:]

Would you like some cotton candy instead?

[....that is mildly appalling. Thank goodness he's used to Lloyd's eating habits or he'd might be inclined to throw up on the spot.]

I dunno...What's cotton candy?

[ Appalling but delicious!]

It's uhhh... Well it's sugar, but it's like cotton, and it's pink!

It's not put into hot oil is it?

[huffythedragon]

Nope. No hot oil at all. Look, I'll show you.

[He'll just lead you through the stalls to where the delicious cotton candy is]

[Whoa. Zelos usually likes to maintain an air of calmness, or at least that nothing phases him, but even his eyes widen in surprise at it]

-- It's so fluffy! You really eat that?

Yep!

[Spike gets a stick and passes it over] Try it. I promise there's no oil or anything in it.

[wilder]

[He'll take it and look at it carefully before he tries taking a bite, and looks surprised when it DISAPPEARS as it goes into his mouth]

Whoa!

[huffythedragon]

Cool, right?

[wilder]

Heh...gotta say, might be one of the freakiest things I've put in my mouth.

[But he'll try another bite!]

But it is tasty, right?

[wilder]

It's...not bad.

[huffythedragon]

Oh come on, it's delicious and you know it.

You think most things are delicious, lil bro.

Except meat. That's never delicious.

Seriously? But meat's great!

Yeah, you know what makes you not want to eat meat? Having an actual conversation with a cow.

But what about the other meats? You know, like chicken or pork?

Well, they don't talk, but...well, Fluttershy can talk to animals, and I don't think they want to be eaten. Besides, everypony else is a herbivore, it'd be weird to eat meat. It's how I was raised.

[wilder]

[He's resisting the urge to roll his eyes. So weird kid, so weird]
