The Carnival! (DAY ONE)

[Around 11:00am, the rides and vendors and stands suddenly appear, bustling with sounds and movements as the carnival spins to life. Throughout the day, all kinds of foods, rides, and games are available, but around the carnival signs are posted about a raffle that evening, with the items listed. Wait, did that belong to you? Well now it's up for raffle! Come buy tickets from any of the ghosts with said tickets slung across their shoulders like a sash.]

(ooc: There will be one section for the actual raffle - an ooc post will be up in a couple moments to claim the items- but other than that, go wild!)

Wow. I wish I could see that! I bet you left the others in the dust!

If I did not, it was certainly not for lack of effort.

[wilder]

If only I was born a few millenniums sooner. [a sigh] But maybe I'll be lucky and see it through a loss- who knows?

So did you want to try again?

[inafadingcrown]

It is certainly possible. If only you had arrived at the castle earlier, you might have met me as child.

Perhaps you might take a turn? [Let's see what you can do, Zelos.]

[wilder]

You were a child? Really?

[He grins a little and takes a small bow] If the lady wishes~! [And he'll go get some balls]

Were not we all once? [It's not what he means and she knows it, if the cheeky little grin is any indication.]

By all means! Let us see what you may do.

[wilder]

[He snickers] Ah, of course of course! I have yet to meet someone who wasn't!

[A grin at her before he takes aim at the bottles. The first throw seems to skim the bottom right one, making it wobble but not fall. He tilts his head a little as he watches a little, before throwing the next ball- hitting the weak spot the first throw had made and knocking the three bottles over]

Aha~!

Well done! [A laugh and a congratulatory hand on his shoulder.] How many more skills have you been hiding?

[wilder]

[A...lot.]

Me? Ha, just this and that, here and there. I am the great Zelos Wilder!

[inafadingcrown]

[She guessed as much. Granted, she's...well, not exactly hiding a lot, but she keeps a lot up her sleeve.]

And ever enigmatic.

[wilder]

Heh heh, well that's part of my charm! Wouldn't you agree?

[inafadingcrown]

I would. Far be it from me to suggest otherwise.

[wilder]

I thought not.

[he glances at the stuffed animals that are apparently prizes]

Hmmm...you want one?

[inafadingcrown]

[What is she even going to do with a stuffed animal?]

If you do not wish it for yourself.

[wilder]

[he shrugs]

I'm not really sure what I'd do with a stuffed animal.

[inafadingcrown]

Nor do I, in truth.

[wilder]

Hmmm...

[He looks at the animals, trying to think of what to do. Then he sees with a teddy bear with a purple ribbon that reminds him of someone. He'll snatch it up]

Aha, I got an idea of someone who would.

Splendid. [Oh, she's terribly curious, but she won't pry.] She will appreciate it, I am sure. [But you note how she assumes it's a woman.]
