Is it actually possible to have a headache from being too painfully shy? Has anyone heard of that? If not, then I think I have a previously undocumented case.

... It takes some energy and concentration to maintain it. I actually did try that for awhile [on leroy], but in the end it was too risky to let my energy deplete like that when an emergency could happen any time.

There was this guy in my world that could do that with his Cruxis Crystal- make himself look older. He did it for long periods of time too...but I guess it's not the same thing after all.

There's a woman in my world who can do the same sort of thing to make herself look younger, without exerting herself or anything. But I don't know how to do that, let alone reverse it.

Probably loads of practice. Or she's got a much higher energy level than you do.

No, it's a different jutsu altogether. Though she is more experienced, too ...

Right, but you still have to master the complete basics before you can even begin the more advanced. Mostly because the advanced is just a modified form of the basics.

So I bet she mastered whatever jutsu you used and then modified it from there to take less energy!

... Well, basic stuff, like writing and reading and all that ... and then other things about hand-to-hand fighting, infiltration, so on and so forth.

Huh. My schooling sure didn't mention infiltration.

Math, Grammar, History, Science, Diplomacy, Politics, Theology...

You know, stuff.

It's a kind of school they have on Earth for teenagers. I had to go a few times before, during world changes.

Oh, right! I remember Mark and Nora talking about that. I had a private tutor for that stuff. Then I went to the Sybak Academy which is...like Earth college? And I graduated from that a few years ago.

Yeah, they were in it before coming here, I think ...

Wow. I graduated from school when I was twelve ... I still had different lessons after that, but that's all that's really required.

Twelve, huh? That's pretty young.

I think they feel nobles require few more years of schooling or something.

Even the really rich families work that way where I live. If you know the skills then you can graduate and get promoted to where you fit.
