Michael? Bonnie? [His own voice sounds sleepy, something that definitely gets his attention]

Michael? Bonnie? [And now it just sounds worried, because something is very definitely wrong here] What's going on? What in the world...? [More sounds of fabric rustling, as the realization kicks in that he's lying down in a bed. With legs. And arms. And hands. And a HEAD. Complete with a headache. He thinks?]

I don't. I don't. I don't understand. What is going on here? Michael! Bonnie! Anybody?

[And she's just ambling on behind him, watching his little spazz]

[Fine. He's hopelessly lost. He's about ready to slide down the wall and just. Sit. All night, if he has to]

[She finally takes pity on him]

[He glares at her again, but there isn't as much venom in it. More like angry defeat]

I'm lost. I don't get lost. I've never been lost in my life.

Well, there aren't exactly handy road signs or GPS to help you out. Now come on and stop sulking. Or I'll let you do it by yourself.

[A totally empty threat, but he didn't know that]

No. It's in here. [He smacked the side of his head, really frustrated now] Here. It used to be, but now it's not. That's gone too. [A pause] You wouldn't, would you?

[She came over and took his arm again, leading him back towards his room] No, I wouldn't. You need to rest, grumpy-pants.

[It was too bad, really. He was feeling good after getting fueled up, as it were, and now it was all looking bleak again]
