Backdated to towards the beginning of the expedition

[Catelyn has reached a state of near panic. It’s not unusual for Arya to disappear for a time. Cat had learned that it was best to give her space. But she always reported in. Because Arya knew Catelyn would worry if she didn’t. So when Arya doesn’t check in, she doesn’t even bother to filter. If it embarrasses Arya, perhaps she’ll speak up to make her stop. If it catches the attention of someone who knows where she is, so much the better.]

Arya Stark, you will tell me where you are this very instant.

[And while she's at it, she'll toss a a filter she's been meaning to for some time.]

[Danaerys Targaryen]

I am well aware my daughter has been enjoying her time with you. I have no reason to see you as an enemy here. I hold nothing against you and so I have allowed it. But know that if any harm comes to her while she is under your care, you will not find me merciful or forgiving. Is this understood?

[ooc: The first part is utterly unfiltered, so anyone is free to reply to it. Be helpful, heckle, whatever. I don't mind!]

How long has she been missing, my lady?

[Always proper, Vanyel is.]

I see. Well, there are strong people out there now. I am sure she will be safe, my lady.

[Don't worry, he understands. He may not be 'daddy', but he does have blood children, technically speaking.]

Have faith, my lady. The last few times I went out nothing overly dangerous happened. I am sure it will be the same this time.

I hope I am too. I have not had much chance to see her, but she seemed a lovely - if rambunctious - child from what I can tell. If you like, I could attempt what counts as a scrying spell and see if I can see her.

Of course, my lady.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to calm your nerves. I have gotten quite good at 'tea', if that helps, or Yfandes suggests you might like to go riding if it helps to distract.

My mother would tan my backside if she knew I had been unkind to a lady.

[This is accompanied by a small laugh, because it was true. She was the one that trained him to be as gentlemanly as he was.]
