Venting over the journal

I am bored. That may sound strange to those of you who are not travelers. Paradisa, as luxurious and irritating as it is, is ONE PLACE. I'm used to roaming all of time and space at will. How can anyone bear to sleep in the same room, night after night after night, seeing the same stars overhead?

The Doctor has often accused me of being mad. I think, after my stay here, he may have a point.



There must be some mischief we can create for our amusement. Any suggestions? I can't disguise myself, but I am a powerful hypnotist and a brilliant scientist.

I think mischievous is too energetic a word, for what I am feeling. Ennui is better. I'm hoping some mischief might energize me.

I agree. I have been here only a short while, but I believe I could do with some skullduggery. Did you have any ideas yourself?

I admit, I do not. I'm used to operating on a grander scale and whittling my plans away to fit the limits of the castle and it's residents is difficult. None of them have anything that I want. I could assert authority, of a sort, but it would mean simply being the first among prisoners.

Perhaps, if we can gain authority over the denizens of this place, we could turn our attentions toward mastery of the castle itself... Though I suspect that such an attempt is beyond anything I could contrive.

Still, there is some attraction in seeing some semblance of order over this place. In my brief exploration, I can find no evidence of any structured governance or command. I think it would be well to... shall we say address this lack of leadership.

I suppose you are correct. I once thought to conquer the universe. It is dismaying to try and be satisfied with less than a city. Still, as you say, it would be something, at least.

I did have the thought of trying to provoke the castle, by instigating a fight between the castle residents and the neighboring village. I thought strong emotions might gain it's attentions.

That's the spirit. Again, I feel I need time to explore and aclimatize before I would be ready to put forth schemes of my own, but I am full ready to hear any suggestions of any more experienced resiences.
