Venting over the journal

I am bored. That may sound strange to those of you who are not travelers. Paradisa, as luxurious and irritating as it is, is ONE PLACE. I'm used to roaming all of time and space at will. How can anyone bear to sleep in the same room, night after night after night, seeing the same stars overhead?

The Doctor has often accused me of being mad. I think, after my stay here, he may have a point.



There must be some mischief we can create for our amusement. Any suggestions? I can't disguise myself, but I am a powerful hypnotist and a brilliant scientist.

We don't, but you have to ask yourself: do we need all of it?

What does need have to do with anything? All one needs is air, water, sleep, and some nutrients. What good will having part do us, unless it provokes the castle?"

I enjoy challenges and accomplishing great things. War is merely a useful tool.

How would feel about being in charge of a military police force?

That sounds intriguing. Where are you going to procure a military police force from?

Yes, a sort of volunteer security mercenary group that would act as separate branch of the town's own police forces.

Who will you recruit into this mercenary group?

Various townsfolk who would be... persuaded to join.

Ideally, it would eventually absorb the police entirely.

Not at all. I think we could all do with some challenges not created by the castle.

Stopping emotional reactions in others is...well, not impossible, but difficult. You have to alter their minds in quite drastic and unsubtle ways.
