That you became prominent during the Renaissance. You were patrons of the arts, and your support allowed many artists of the Renaissance to realize their potential.

You also produced two popes...not bad as far as positive contributions go to modern civilisation.

Of course they also take about the odd misdeed here and there...but you know people. They're so keen to find fault with everything.
