Greetings. I am Mufasa, the king of the Pridelands. Though, as I understand it, my position holds little value here.

I suppose it will suffice an interesting conversational topic.

[A brief pause to let the light humor settle in.]

It is my pleasure to make an acquaintance with all of you.

I hope you'll forgive me for my ignorance; my home is quite a bit different from this one. It seems as though I have much to learn here.

If any of you have the time, I would enjoy hearing about your homeland.

Not always. These lands can be just as dangerous.

The lands change, become different. The castle can play with your mind and your memory. There are groups of people that have attacked the residents before.

It is not the safest of places.

I assume it is tranquil for the majority of the time, at least? Or have I come in during an unusual period of calm?

For the most part. It does seem to get dangerous once every few months though.
