[Damon's starting to wonder who he pissed off. (Everyone is the short answer, but he is thinking in more specific terms.) The giant pile of crap on his plate in Mystic Falls was bad enough, now he's...wherever the hell this place was supposed to be. With a magical little journal no less. Maybe if Damon was a twelve year old girl or Stefan (what's the difference, really?) he'd be into this. But frankly? He'd rather go home to the hybrid temper tantrum.

Right, well, since no immediate solutions to this predicament presented themselves, he might as well give the journal a whirl while he tried to get a lay of the land.]

So, I'm sure this has been asked ad nauseum, but where the hell am I and how the hell do I get out? As adorable as all this fairy princess crap is, I have things to do and people to see. [Possibly people to kill, but he'll leave that off the list for now.]

Good morning! You're in Paradisa. Totally a magical castle in the wish granting and soul eating way, not in the princess locked in the tower way. Though, there is Royalty here. [Queen E is going to take her shopping, she just doesn't know it yet!]

The soul eating part is where it took something important from you and the wish granting is that you can wish for things and it will almost always work. [she pauses] Exceptions being weapons, when the castle is on a break, or when it's mad at you.

I'm Harmony and we've met before, which is going to get really old by the end of the day, but sometimes the castle likes someone a lot so it brings them back again. [and again...]

[ Well it had already been a strange morning. Having gotten up extra early to return her books to the library and visit John during his shift, Lana had unexpectedly run into a re-injured Lilah, and that just always left her rattled. Wondering what had gone on back in L.A. only made her worry more about Wesley and Fred.

Which is where her thoughts have gone when she nearly runs right into him on her way down the stairs. About to mutter out a dismissive apology and continue on her way, she stops for a double-take. That there on her face is blatant shock. ]

[Damon's expression is blank for a moment as he takes stock. Despite the stupid look on her face, she is rather pretty. And apparently knows him. Though that gives him reason to frown and mutter to himself:]

Harmony was right, this does get old fast.

[He puts on a smile for her.]

The one and only. Well, assuming the whole apparently magical amnesia thing is real. In which case, damn shame the other Damon went away.

[It is one face, actually, that Fred's never managed to physically confront. So it's just another stranger that she finds herself stumbling across on her way to the library, a few books tucked up under one arm.

There's a whisper of amusement in her features as she stops up short]

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess this is your first day.

[Normally Damon didn't think he'd be so relieved to see someone who didn't know him that he wasn't going to snack on, but this is actually wonderful.

He smiles.]

Was it the dazed and confused expression on my face that gave it away? I was trying to keep it subtle.

[ When she hears this her first reaction is almost rage, that tiny voice in the back of her mind that always said his leaving was some sort of trip springing forward with a vengeance. But it wasn't a trick, Damon did leave, so she smothers that voice. Yet some anger remains. He left her to travel around for months, to move from place to place, he had been (for the most part) her protection. And the castle took that from her.

She leaves the welcome wagon to the other residents, it is not something she enjoys doing after being here for so long. Instead she clothes herself in white and makes her way up to the castle. No doubts by the time she gets there someone will have explained everything to him.

It is the soft clinking of jewels he'd likely hear first before he sees her, hair let left loose and lips painted red. The look on her face part bemusement another annoyance. Still sore from his leaving, and other things. ]

You're back. [ The corners of her mouth twitch upwards. ] I assume someone has already told you what is going on? [ Because having the same conversation for the umpteenth time is boring, might as well assume she finds him after someone explains everything to him. ]

[Well, well, well. Damon is pretty sure he's made a mistake turning his nose up to renaissance fairs. There's definitely something to be said for 'em now looking at her. He's not exactly sure what her relationship to the other him is, but given the general reaction this is probably another "Damon, you're a bastard" speech is on the horizon.

If you had told Damon that was on repeat more somewhere other than Mystic Falls, he never would have believed you and this place would've proven him so wrong.]

Magic castle, blah, blah, blah, lost memories, blah blah, blah losses, blah, blah, you were a bastard... Yeah, I kinda got the general gist of things.

[There's a small panic in Lilah's heart as she heard the voice, and she found herself wishing up some vervain to lace her next drink with right away. She had been in a coma for over a week, long enough for the effects to wear off.

And she remembered the last time Damon had a first night here. She wasn't supposed to, but she did.

But none of that can be heard through the steely voice that finally responds, cutting like ice.]

And here we are getting used to a Salvatore-free castle.

[ She feels a little guilty saying this, because... well. Stefan. But given everything that he's done she felt she needed to say something. And, hey, you can't really start off on a bad foot if you let on a bad foot, right? ]

But for the record, I prefer sociopathic, not psychotic. I don't exactly think Jesus is talking to me through the television to let me know I need to kill all the gnomes before they take my soul.

[Hellboy's just come back from spending a few weeks out in the wilderness, so he's heading through the castle to his room up in one of the towers, a small bag slung over his shoulder.

This would probably be innocuous except that Hellboy is seven feet tall, has hooves and a tail, and has skin the color of dried blood.

So, there's that.]
