[ Well this has been one long and adventurous journey, but James is glad to be back, in the bed the castle provided him, in his own, natural form.

God he missed having hands. ]

Well that was fun. Nothing like a little adventure from time to time. Lets not do that again any time soon, however. I think I'm good for nice, long break from everything for the time being.

However, when James' door creaks open he sits upright leaning forward and catching a glimpse of a dog nose sticking through the door.

[She pokes her head in and twitches her ear. She doesn't look hostile and nudges the door open further. Oh, the boy from the holiday trip. Hello.]

[ He's swinging his legs over the edge of the bed and leaning forward. Wolf in the castle? Well, there have been weirder things. He's been weirder things.

He's partly joking when he asks his next question, not really sure if she'd understand or not. ]

[Her tail swishes as she walks in and moves to sit in front of him. Her head nods, but it's fine. She's clearly not bothered.]

[ Oh now she has his attention. So she does understand him. Either she's a very clever animal, or he can sympathise with the boat she now finds herself in.

He leans forward. ]

[ To tell or not to tell. Well, Rue seems like a trustworthy enough girl, unfortunately he doesn't trust people over the journals, and doesn't trust the filter system. ]

I'd imagine that has something to do with the castle. Happened to me once before while I was in it, though I wasn't stuck as a stag for that long.

Oh... okay. I just thought it was weird that it happened int he Dead Zone. I just thought that magic and technology wasn't supposed to work out there. I didn't think it did other things like that, too.
