[She's quiet for a long moment before she speaks]

When we were on the expedition Once-ler told me that people forced him to go out there when he didn't want to. That's a long trip to make someone go on... and it's not fair to make someone do something when they don't want to. Especially when it ends up being as dangerous as that was...

He said it was because you thought it would be good for him, but he didn't seem happy at all to be there and... and I think you should apologize.

Wow... a lot of people went home while we were gone... [There's a pause before she softly asks] Is anyone taking care of the garden at the church in town?

O-okay. [She draws in a map to the church with an arrow leading directly to the gardens planted outside]

[ The hesitancy is freaking adorable, but look at her all on good behavior and not teasing about it. Yet.

She'll show up at the gardens rather quickly, perhaps even sooner than the little bird herself. Being an elf does have it's bonuses, and it's always good to inspect the layout before the party, hm?

Some weeds may even be mysteriously gone by the time Rue's gotten there. ]

[She shows up shortly thereafter, carrying a shoulderbag and looking around for the brush thief]

[ Who is apparently sunbathing on the church's roof, legs crossed and pretty much as half-naked as ever, sorry. The snake is on the ground, though, slithering among the plants. It turns to let out a hiss as Rue approaches, and Echidna sits up to wave. ]

Here I was thinking you stood me up! I'm so delighted.

[She smiles, though she takes a step back from that snake] Why would I stand you up?

You never know! Some people hold terrible grudges over the smallest of things.

[ Echidna hops down from the roof, brushing some extra dirt off of her...panties. Yeah, those are all she has on her bottom half. Pants are for losers. ]
