[Once-ler and everyone who kidnapped him to make him go on the expedition]

When we were on the expedition Once-ler told me that people forced him to go out there when he didn't want to. That's a long trip to make someone go on... and it's not fair to make someone do something when they don't want to. Especially when it ends up being as dangerous as that was...

He said it was because you thought it would be good for him, but he didn't seem happy at all to be there and... and I think you should apologize.

I see you've already started to get both sides of the story, but ... allow me to elaborate. It wasn't just about getting him out in the open to see the world, you know - he needed to see that there are people who care for him, and will protect him when dangerous things happen ... people who will do that no matter how horribly he views himself.

Yeah... that's important... But did he really need such a big demonstration to show people would protect him? There are other ways to show people you care about them...

He just didn't seem happy to be there at all.
