This has been on my mind quite a bit recently- and before I ask it, no I still haven't completely forgiven you for taking away my bunsen burner, even if I was drunk.

You know...hasn't it been a bit too quiet lately? I'm not talking about the expedition that just came back, I'm talking about the castle in general. Shouldn't one of those crazy castle-wide losses or world changes be happening by now? I mean, it's been too quiet. Too normal...well, if you ignore all the individual losses everyone has from time to time.

Or am I just missing something? Because it feels an awful lot like the quiet before the storm, in my opinion...

Oh, all sorts of things. They make you go mad, turn into another person, forget things, remember things, find yourself turned into an inanimate object, turned into the opposite sex...really, if you can imagine it, it could probably happen to you.

I've been trying to find a good scientific explanation for why this place is the way it is, but that's like trying to argue over whether Schrodinger's Cat is actually alive and would never be dead. It just doesn't work.

Perhaps that is because this place runs on 'magic'. [ She doesn't believe it, but then again, before turning into one herself, she didn't believe in vampires either. She'll wait until Carlisle appears before speaking out with her theories. ]

Oh, don't tell me. I still find it hard to believe and way to easy to explain. Everything runs on magic, we can totally forget about researching the basis behind everything! Not.

Even magic has to have logic, even if it can be farfetched at times...

I don't believe this reasoning -- no matter how far-fetched it is -- is logic. Magic, by principle, does not have logic.
