Well, well. How about this. A masked ball. Those always go down so well. I wonder what horrors await for us in this one? I might be willing to go just for the sheer entertainment value when things inevitably go down the crapper.

So long as there's alcohol there, anyway. Best bring a hipflask with me just in case something needs to be spiked. [There's some page flicking going on]

'Celebrate the shifting of the seasons' yadda yadda. Sounds like a tree hugging thing, to me, but whatever. It can't be as bad as the fucking mice thing.
