My hometown's called Namimori. It's fairly small.

It's pretty quiet most of the time. Though, once in awhile, things like festivals come up and liven the place a bit.

Mmm. There's one in the fall, actually! They have fair foods and some rides, and at night they shoot fireworks.

It's... sort of like the ball, I guess? Celebrating the changing of seasons? But I think it's become more of a yearly event than anything.

I see! It makes sense to celebrate the changing seasons, but I think the closest things we have to that in America are local celebrations centered around holidays.
