[the day of the party has arrived!

right around dinnertime, fairies will try to round up every single character and gesture, lead, or pull them towards the courtyard. there, the miniature castle has finally been completed! there are fairy lights and beautiful singing all around you, and it looks like there's some kind of a party going on in the castle, but...

...but it's still so tiny. how could you possibly get in there? it would be hard just to get your hand through the front door!

but the fairies will persist, and as soon as a character steps into the fairy ring...

they find themselves in the ballroom.

[ Great. Only her least favorite thing to do after needlework. She looks for a place to sit. Nymeria rests her head on Arya's shoulder and nuzzles her neck. ]

She's not. She's not yet full-grown.

Have you tales of them in your world then?

They used to exist. Not like this, though. They were a little different. Less refined. they were around when mankind was still new.

They're rare at home too. Before my brothers found Nymeria and the rest of the litter, there'd not been any south of the Wall in hundreds of years.

I learned destiny was a load of bollocks. You pave your own path in this world, calling it destiny is just one way of trying to foist the balme onto something or someone else.
