First Council
[The journal picks up quiet musings from someone as he talks, along with the sound of books being stacked on top of one another.]
You would think they would know better, it is not so difficult to put things back where they belong when they stand right next to the shelf. Though it would be more understandable if they would purchase something.
[Grumbley half-elf is grumbley. And a beat.] Unless someone changed the open sign to closed again. [Who does that, really?
Though after that the sound of a bell comes through and he's off to take care of whatever customer of his happens to have come in.
Later in the day however he can be found going from his book store out to various other places in the city, stopping for food or other small things one does after work.]

Despite your ties to us through our daughter and your children, we value you as our..."friend" above all things else. Isn't that enough for us to want to help you?
You are the Lord of Rivendell, one of the most valiant lords in Arda. Together, we've gone to war and survived great horrors that would've diminished the spirit of a lesser man. To lose you now due to false memories is too much of a sin for me to bear.

Perhaps, though in my mind I have yet to find such friends to go to such lengths. [And yet this is the guy who'll throw you both a dinner party when his memories are back. Go figure.]
And if I could recall such things, I may perhaps, agree with you. [Except not because it's his staff who like to toss his reputation around and he just relaxes with Master Elrond and healing and books.] Perhaps in time, we could, discuss such things? Doing so with your lady wife brought some recollection, though not all.
