3 Lanterns; Dictated

That was the longest and worst sleep I've ever had... And I guess it wasn't just me, from what people have been writing. It gave me some things to think about. [She's kept somewhat quiet since waking up.] I kind of wish it hadn't, but I'm kind of happy, at the same time. I have a decision to make now.

But, uh... Maybe I should talk about something else. [Rather than go into her missing towels. What's that about?] How about this Halloween I keep hearing about? Does anyone want me to make them a costume for that?

It's the perfect time to get new clothes anyways. It's gonna start getting super cold here in a few weeks.

Will it snow? I've never been out in snow.

Yeah, it usually snows a lot here! I'd never even seen snow outside of pictures until I got here, actually.

Do you come from somewhere really warm, then? Are there lots of big flowers and colorful animals?

Well, I don't know about colorful animals ... but yeah, it's warm. And my family actually owns a flower shop, so we always have lots of big flowers.

You lived in a flower shop? Really? That's so amazing!

It was fun! I mean, growing them was fun, but it's also fun to do arranging and bouquets and stuff like that.

It sounds so beautiful...

You couldn't grow anything where you lived?

Mother planted some flowers in the windowsill...
