3 Lanterns; Dictated

That was the longest and worst sleep I've ever had... And I guess it wasn't just me, from what people have been writing. It gave me some things to think about. [She's kept somewhat quiet since waking up.] I kind of wish it hadn't, but I'm kind of happy, at the same time. I have a decision to make now.

But, uh... Maybe I should talk about something else. [Rather than go into her missing towels. What's that about?] How about this Halloween I keep hearing about? Does anyone want me to make them a costume for that?

[And here she is, one of the people who saw him at his worst. Someone he treated like dirt...like he treated everyone until reality gave him a sharp, hard slap in the face.

He's quiet for a moment, before reluctantly replying]

[She was so mad at him when she woke up. Not just for what he'd done, but for letting her believe he was a decent person... But that anger is really more at herself, even if she doesn't fully realize it. He tried to point it out to her in a way, and she does remember that.]
